Community Communications: Training and Collaboration Opportunities

The Center for Community Communications offers trainings, events and co-production opportunities for community journalists, producers, activists and artists.

Current Schedule

What can you learn and participate in?

New Media:
Produce cutting edge television, radio, web and print projects using new media arts and technology.

New Journalism:
Document and report on the work of sustainable community organizations, local government, culture, politics and social justice.

New Communications Collaboratives:
Work with community media centers networks such as WXBH-FM, the OpenJournalism Project, the Community Communications Working Group, or the Brick House .

Community Communications Certification
Participants in these groups and others can learn to produce radio, television and internet products for these networks by participating in the Community Communications Certificate Program offered through the Adena Center for Sustainability, Communications and Transformational Change.
